Compress PDF — Scans & Image PDFs
Reduce scanned PDF size locally. Compare quality and file size, preview every page, and download without uploading your document.
Every page is rebuilt as a JPEG image. Text will no longer be selectable; links, forms, bookmarks and digital signatures are not retained. This is lossy compression, not document editing.
Files stay on this device.
Text-only or already optimized PDFs can get larger. You will see the actual result before downloading. Large pages may use a lower resolution to fit device limits.

Previews fit the screen. Open the downloaded PDF at 100% to check small text before sharing.
Choose the right compression level
Start with Balanced. Use Smaller file for large photos or simple pages, and Clearer text for small print. All pages and their displayed dimensions are kept, including mixed page sizes. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
A fixed target such as 200 KB cannot be guaranteed without sacrificing readability. If the output is larger, keep the original or try a smaller-file preset. This tool does not preserve a searchable OCR layer; keep an original copy of important documents.
