A self-hosted QR decoder reads the selected image locally. It does not request camera permission or upload the image. Decoded data may contain a URL, Wi-Fi password, or contact details, so inspect it before copying, opening, or sharing.

Only HTTP or HTTPS URLs receive an open button, and navigation is never automatic. Blurry, cropped, reflective, or heavily distorted codes may fail; retry with a clearer original image.
